Do We Need New Cultural Identities? – Strategies of Cultural Management for Representation and Cooperation of Art Institutions and Artists across Europe

May 12 – 18 | FH Kufstein Tirol | Palea Epidavros | Greece

The 4th Kufstein Summer School for Arts Management will focus on the question of whether we have to reflect a conceivable end of national cultural identities to strengthen a specific European approach or whether we have to reformulate the tasks of national cultural institutions and artistic projects to understand the value of national experiences, traditions and approaches in a new way.

The 4th Kufstein Summer School for Arts Management will gather experts from European and non-European countries as well as artists, politicians, arts managers and students from different fields to discuss this topic on a theoretical as well as a practical level.

Target groups: graduate students of arts management, cultural studies, event management, tourism management, political sciences and cultural heritage management. Interested students and professionals of other fields are also welcome.

Language: English

Fee: € 490

Participants make their own travel arrangements (May 12 & 18)
