Im Juni ist der ungarische Künstler Róbert Németh Gastkünstler der Stadt Salzburg. Róbert Németh studierte in Budapest an der Hungarian University of Fine Arts, die er 2012 mit einem Doctor of Liberal Arts abschloss. Er erhielt zahlreiche Stipendien und Preise und kann auf eine Reihe von Gruppen- und Einzelausstellungen verweisen.
„In the last few years I was making roomsize, site-specific installations with UV-lighting. The works are visible under certain circumstances (blacklight), otherwise only the empty exhibition room is to be seen. I often use anamorphosis, that has only one correct point of view: the correct image is to be seen only if the viewer occupies a certain position in the exhibition space. In my installations there is a constant interaction between the real and the pictorial space. By their nature these works are ephemeral, they exist only at a particular location for a certain amount of time. Almost all of my works are based on drawing.“
